Industrial Production Index increase by 0.79% during June 2022
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Industrial Production Index for June 2022 to reach 94.22 against 93.47 for the same month of 2021 recording an increase by 0.79%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the production index of quarrying industries by 9.78 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22%, the production index of electricity by 6.98 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%. Meanwhile ,there was a decrease of manufacturing industries production by 0.42 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01% .
