The Consumer Price Index Increased by 1.63% in March 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for March 2024 which indicated an increase by 1.63% compared to the same month of 2023, and a slight increase by 0.53% (less than one percentage point) compared to February 2024. On the accumulative level, the CPI for the first three months of 2024 has increased by 1.72% compared to the same period in 2023.
Thus, the CPI for March 2024 has reached 110.61 against 108.83 for the same month of 2023, while the CPI for March 2024 has reached 110.61 against 110.02 for February 2024. On the accumulative level, the CPI for the first three months of 2024 has reached 110.12, compared to 108.26 for the same period in 2023.
