Department of Statistics: The Producer Price Index decreased by (1.84%) in February 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Producer Price Index which indicated a decrease in the Producer Price Index by (1.84%) compared to the same month of 2023, and an increase of 0.25% compared to the previous month of the same year. At the accumulative level, the Producer Price Index for the first two months of 2024 decreased by (1.63%) compared to the same period in 2023.
Accordingly, the Producer Price Index for February 2024 has reached 107.14 against 109.15 for the same month in 2023, and the Producer Price Index for February 2024 has reached 107.14 against 106.88 compared to the previous month of the same year. At the accumulative level for the first two months of 2024, the Producer Price Index has reached 107.01 against 108.78 for the same period in 2023.
