14.87% is the average Increase of the Industrial Producer’s prices
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the in the Industrial price index for September 2021 to reach 126.14 against 109.81 for the same month of 2020 recording an increase by 14.87%.This mainly was a result of an increase in the price Index of manufacturing industries by 13.90 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01% and the quarrying industries production by 1.25 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22%. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the price Index of electricity production by 0.28 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
