18.6% Unemployment Rate during the third Quarter of 2018
The Department of Statistics issued its quarterly report on the Unemployment Rate at the kingdom for the third quarter of 2018: The following are the main results:
Unemployment:
The results show that the Unemployment Rate has reached (18.6%) during the third quarter of 2018 ; representing an increase by 0.1 percentage points of the third quarter of 2017.
the Unemployment Rate for males has reached (16.3% ) during the third quarter of 2018 against (27.1%) for females .It becomes clear that the Unemployment Rate has increased for males by 0.9 percentage points and decreased for females by 2.8 percentage points compared with the third quarter 2017.
