Department of Statistics: Industrial Production Index Increased by 1.83% in April 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Industrial Production Index (IPI) whereby it observes an increase in the IPI of April 2024 by 1.83% compared to April 2023, and a decrease by (2.04%) compared to March 2024. On the accumulative level for the first four months of 2024, the IPI had increased by 1.26% compared to the same period of 2023, noting that the base year was amended to be (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
