Department of Statistics: Consumer Price Index (CPI) Increased by 1.75% in June 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for June 2024 which observed an increase by 1.75% compared to the same month of 2023, and a slight increase by 0.15% (less than one percentage point) compared to May 2024. On the accumulative level, the CPI for the first six months of 2024 had increased by 1.67% compared to the same period in 2023.
Thus, the CPI of June 2024 had reached 110.74 percentage points against 108.83 for the same month of 2023, while the CPI of June 2024 reached 110.74 against 110.58 for May 2024. On the accumulative level, the CPI for the first six months of 2024 reached 110.36 compared to 108.55 for the same period in 2023.
