Industrial Production Index increase by 2.64% during September 2022
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Industrial Production Index for September 2022 to reach 92.80 against 90.42 for the same month of 2021 recording an increase by 2.64%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the production index of manufacturing industries by 1.97 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01%, quarrying industries production by 4.31% with a relative importance of 8.22% and electricity production by 10.52 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
