12.53% is the average Increase of the Industrial Producer’s prices for 2021
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the in the Industrial price index for 2021 to reach 124.34 against 110.50 for 2020, recording an increase by 12.53%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the price Index of manufacturing industries by 12.06 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01% and the price index of quarrying industries by 0.73 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22%. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the price Index of electricity by 0.26 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
