Industrial Production Index Increased by 2.45% in 1st third of 2025
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Industrial Production Index (IPI), which recorded an increase by 2.45% in 1st third of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. On the monthly level, the IPI of April 2025 was increased by 1.37% compared to April 2024 and decreased by (2.56%) compared to March 2025. Note that the base year has been modified to (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
Accordingly, the IPI for the 1st third of 2025 has reached 87.15 compared to 85.07 for the same period in 2024. On the monthly level, the IPI of April 2025 has reached 85.56 percentage points against 84.40 for the same period in 2024. Additionally, the IPI for April 2025 has reached 85.56 against 87.81 in March 2025.
