The Advisory Committee of the Jordanian Statistical Training Center (J.S.T.C) holds its first meeting
On Tuesday, August 29, 2023, the Director General of the Department of Statistics, Dr. Haider Fraihat, chaired the first meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Jordanian Statistical Training Center for the purpose of reviewing the laws and regulations regulating the process and the methodologies specified in the center and ways to develop them to suit the next stage based on the implementation of a national comprehensive statistical system.
During his opening speech, Dr. Al-Fraihat stressed that the Statistical Training Center provides the Department, ministries, official and private national institutions with the specialized statistical skills they need to implement, facilitate and accelerate their programs and plans and fulfill their national role to the fullest.
The meeting aims to crystallize future plans, develop training methodologies and embody them into a tangible reality in the Statistical Training Center based on identifying job needs and skills that will contribute to capacity building during specialized training for all partner ministries, institutions, agencies and departments in the public and private sectors.
