National exports increase by 8.8% and Imports by 5.6% during the first quarter of 2023
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates that the value of total exports has reached 2118.5 million JDs during the first quarter of 2023 with an increase by 6.3% compared with the same period of 2022. Meanwhile, the national exports value reached 1974.8 million JDs during the first quarter of 2023 with an increase by 8.8% compared with the same period of 2022. The value of re-exports reached 143.7 million JDs during the first quarter of 2023 which indicates a decrease by 19.1% as compared with the same period of 2022. The imports value reached 4513.8 million JDs during the first quarter of 2023 recording an increase by 5.6% compared with the same period of 2022.
