    The Department of Statistics is pleased to publish the seventeenth annual publication on Environmental Statistics for 2012. The environmental statistics is considered as an informative database for developing environmental indicators and providing the environmental accounts to measure the impacts of economic on the environment and to measure the provision of environmental goods and services to the economy.

  • Family Health Bulletin 2017

    The 2017-18 Jordan Population and Family Health Survey (JPFHS) is the seventh Demographic and Health Survey to be conducted in Jordan. Like the first six JPFHS surveys, conducted respectively in 1990,
    1997, 2002, 2007, 2009, and 2012, the 2017-18 JPFHS was carried out by the Department of Statistics (DOS). The main objective of the survey is to provide comprehensive data on fertility and mortality, family planning, and maternal and child health and nutrition. The information will be used as a tool to evaluate existing population and health policies and programs.

  • Household Expenditures & Income Survey 2010

    The Department of Statistics (DoS) takes the pleasure in publishing this report containing the results of the Household Expenditures and Income Survey 2010, conducted during the period 0/4/2010 – 31/3/2011. The survey covered a sample of 13866 households distributed all over the governorates of the Kingdom in a way that ensures representatives of data at sub-district level. The sample design was based on the households’ frame provided by the 0224 General Population and Housing Census.

    The Department of Statistics (DoS) takes the pleasure in publishing a report on the results of the Household’s Expenditures and Income Survey 2013/2014, conducted during the period 1/7/2013 – 30/6/2014. The survey covered a sample of 24740 households distributed all over the governorates of the Kingdom in a way that ensures representativeness of data at sub-district level. The sample design was based on the households’ frame provided by the 2002 Population and Housing Census.

    The Department of Statistics (DoS) takes the pleasure in presenting the annual report of the Industrial Survey 2013 carried out in 2014. This survey covers all establishments operating in the industries of mining and manufacturing, in addition to the production and distribution of electricity.
