The General Index of Industrial Production Quantities Increased by 10.39% during March 2022
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Index of Industrial Production Quantities for March 2022 to reach 95.68 against 86.68 for the same month of 2021 recording an increase by 10.39 %. This mainly was a result of an increase in the production index of manufacturing industries by 8.81 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01%, the quarrying industries’ production by 0.33 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22%, and the quantities of electricity production index by 1.25 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
