Industrial Production Index Increases by 5.67% during July 2021
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Industrial Production Index for July 2021 to reach 94.86 against 89.77 for the same month of 2020 recording an increase by 5.68%.This mainly was a result of an increase in the production index of manufacturing industries by 5.07 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01%, the quarrying industries production by 0.42 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22% and the quantities of electricity production by 0.19 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
