National exports Increase by 15.9% and Imports Increase by 21.3% during the first eight months of 2021
The monthly report of the external trade issued by the Department of Statistics indicates that the value of total exports reached 4127.5 million JDs during the first eight months of 2021 with an increase by 13.7% compared with the same period of 2020. Meanwhile, the national exports value reached 3745.7 million JDs during the first eight months of 2021 with an increase by 15.9% compared with the same period of 2020. The value of re-exports reached 381.8 million JDs during the first eight months of 2021 with a decrease by 4.3% compared with the same period of 2020. The imports value reached 9497.6 million JD during the first eight months of 2021, thus increasing by 21.3% compared with the same period of 2020.
