Department of Statistics: Industrial Producers Prices Index decreased by (1.38%) in January 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Industrial Producers Prices Index (PPI) which observed a decrease in January 2024 by (1.38%) compared to the same month of 2023, and a decrease by (0.38%) compared to December 2023, noting that the base year was amended to become (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
Thus, the Industrial PPI for January 2024 reached 106.91 against 108.41 for the same month of 2023, as well as the Industrial PPI for January 2024 recorded 106.91 against 107.32 compared to December 2023.
