1.25% is the increase in the Wholesale Price Index for 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its annual report on the Wholesale Price Index, which recorded a slight increase in the overall Wholesale Price Index for 2024 by 1.25% compared to 2023, and an increase of 0.20% for the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the previous quarter of the same year. Additionally, the Wholesale Price Index for the fourth quarter of 2024 increased by 1.09% compared to the same period in 2023.
Accordingly, the Wholesale Price Index for 2024 reached 107.89, compared to 106.56 for 2023, and 108.19 in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to 107.97 for the previous quarter of the same year. Meanwhile, the Wholesale Price Index reached 108.19 in the fourth quarter of 2024, compared to 107.02 for the same period in 2023.
