Wholesale Price Index Increased by 1.55% During the First Half of 2026
The Department of Statistics issued its quarterly report on the Wholesale Price Index (WPI), which recorded an increase in the first half of 2026 by 1.55% compared to the same period of 2025. Also, the WPI for the second quarter of 2026 had increased by 1.98% compared to the corresponding quarter of 2025. On a quarterly basis, the WPI for the second quarter of 2026 increased by 1.10% compared to the first quarter 2026.
