18.4% Unemployment Rate during the first Quarter of 2018

The Department of Statistics issued its quarterly report on the Unemployment Rate of 2018: The following are the main results of this survey:
Unemployment:
 The results show that the Unemployment Rate has reached (18.4%) during the first quarter of 2018 ; representing an increase by 0.2 percentage points of the first quarter 2017.
 the Unemployment Rate for males has reached (16.0% ) during the first quarter of 2018 against (27.8%) for females. it becomes clear that the Unemployment Rate has increased for males by 2.1 percentage points and decreased for females by 5.2 percentage points compared with first quarter 2017.
