The 2017-18 Jordan Population and Family Health Survey (JPFHS) is the seventh Demographic and Health Survey to be conducted in Jordan. Like the first six JPFHS surveys, conducted respectively in 1990,
1997, 2002, 2007, 2009, and 2012, the 2017-18 JPFHS was carried out by the Department of Statistics (DOS). The main objective of the survey is to provide comprehensive data on fertility and mortality, family planning, and maternal and child health and nutrition. The information will be used as a tool to evaluate existing population and health policies and programs.
