Department of Statistics: Net New Jobs Created During 1st half of 2025 reached 48,000 & The expected is about 100,000 Jobs for 2025

  • The Department of Statistics issued its semi-annual report on the Net New Jobs Created (NNJC) in Jordan for 1 st half of 2025, which demonstrates the following:
  • The NNJC in Jordan’s labor market during the 1st half of 2025 have reached (48,403) jobs. The NNJC is defined as the sum of new jobs reported by job occupants who filled these positions during the reference period, minus the sum of jobs left during the same reference period (6 months). The detailed results are as follows:
  • By sex, the results demonstrate that the NNJC for males reached
    (41,233) jobs, which represents 85.2% of the NNJC, while the NNJC for females reached (7,170) jobs, which represents 14.8%.
  • By sex for those with a bachelor’s degree or higher, the NNJC share for females reached 33.5% compared to 66.5% for males.
