Industrial Production Index increase by 2.69% in 2022
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the Industrial Production Index for 2022 to reach 92.27 against 89.85 for the year 2021 recording an increase by 2.69%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the index of manufacturing industries by 2.35% with a relative importance of 86.01%, quarrying industries by 3.94% with a relative importance of 8.22% and the quantities of electricity by 6.36 % with a relative importance of 5.76%.
