Industrial Production Index Increased by 1.80% in the first half of 2025
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Industrial Production Index (IPI), which recorded an increase during the first half of 2025 by 1.80% compared to the same period in 2024. On the monthly level, the IPI has increased by 0.43% in June 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, and an increase by 2.31% compared to May 2025. Note that the base year has been modified to (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
Accordingly, the IPI for the first half of 2025 has reached 87.77 against 86.21 for the same period in 2024. On the monthly level, the IPI of June 2025 has reached 90.07 percentage points against 89.69 for the same month in 2024, while the IPI of June 2025 has reached 90.07 against 88.04 in May 2025.
