Industrial Production Index increased by 3.41% for September 2024
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Industrial Production Index (IPI), which recorded an increase by 3.41% in September 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, and a decrease by (1.17%) compared to August 2024. On the accumulative level for the first nine months of 2024, the IPI has increased by 0.48% compared to the same period in 2023, noting that the base year has been modified to become (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
Accordingly, the IPI in September 2024 has reached 89.83 percentage points against 86.87 compared to the same period in 2023, and 90.89 in August 2024. At the accumulative level for the first nine months of 2024, the IPI has reached 87.63 compared to 87.22 for the same period in 2023.
