National exports increase by 3.8% and Imports by 21.8% during January 2023
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates that the value of total exports reached 589.9 million JDs during the January 2023 with an increase by 2.2% compared with the same period of 2022. Meanwhile, the national exports value reached 543.2 million JDs during January 2023 with an increase by 3.8% compared with the same period of 2022. The value of re-exports reached 46.7 million JDs during January 2023 which indicates a decrease by 12.7% as compared with the same period of 2022. The imports value reached 1641.2 million JDs during January 2023 recording an increase by 21.8% compared with the same period of 2022.
