Department of Statistics: 0.92% the average increase of the Consumer Price Index for July 2023
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicate that the Consumer Price Average (Inflation) recorded an increase by 0.92% (less than one percentage point) compared to the same month of 2022 and the index for July 2023 increased slightly by 0.07% compared to the previous month. On the accumulative level, the index for the first seven months of this year witnessed an increase by 2.68%, compared to the same period in 2022.
