Inflation Rate for the First Half of 2026 Reached 2.03%
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of June 2026, whereby the inflation rate during the first half of 2026 reached 2.03% against 1.98% for the same period in 2025. In June 2026, the inflation rate had reached 2.79% compared to 2.02% during June 2025, and recorded an increase by 0.14% (less than one percentage point) compared to May 2026.
