Inflation Rate for the first five months reached 1.88%
The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of May 2026, whereby the inflation rate during the first five months of 2026 reached 1.88% against 1.97% for the same period in 2025. In May 2026, the inflation rate had reached 2.83% compared to 1.98% during May 2025, and recorded an increase by 0.55% (less than one percentage point) compared to April 2026.
