Consumer Price Index (inflation) increased by 1.98% at the first half of 2025

The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the General Consumer Price Index (Inflation), which recorded an increase by 1.98% at the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. On monthly level, the index number increased by 2.02% for June 2025 compared to the same month of 2024 and a slight increase of 0.19% (less than one percentage point) for June 2025 compared to May 2025.
Accordingly, the General CPI for the first half of 2025 reached 112.55 compared 110.36 for the same period in 2024. On the monthly level, the General CPI for June 2025 reached 112.98 against to 110.74 for the same month in 2024 and the index number for June 2025 reached 112.98 compared to 112.77 for the previous month of the same year.
