1.95% is the increase of the Consumer Price Index for January 2024

The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates that the Consumer Price Index recorded an increase by 1.95% in January 2024 compared to the same month of 2023, and a slight decrease of 0.08% (less than one percentage point) compared to the previous month (December) 2023.
Accordingly, the Consumer Price Index for January 2024 has reached 109.72 against 107.62 for the same month of 2023, and the price Index for January 2024 has reached 109.72 against 109.82 for the previous month of 2023.
