11% increase in the Agricultural Producer Price Index during the first five months of 2025

The Department of Statistics issued its monthly report on the Agricultural Producer Price Index, which recorded a cumulative increase of 11.4% during the first five months of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, it also showed a 18.3% increase in the Agricultural Producer Price Index for May 2025 compared to the same month in 2024, and a 20.9% increase compared to the previous month of the same year.
Accordingly, the cumulative Agricultural Producer Price Index for the first five months of 2025 has reached 118.2 against 106.1 for the same period in 2024, and 145.1 in May 2025 against 122.6 in May 2024. Meanwhile the Agricultural Producer Price Index for May 2025 has reached 145.1 against 119.9 compared to the previous month of April 2025.
