Industrial Production Quantities Remained Steady During the First Two Months
The Department of Statistics released its monthly report on the Industrial Production Index (IPI), which showed that the IPI of the first two months of 2026 remained steady (statistically insignificant decrease by 0.5%) compared to the same period in 2026. On a monthly basis, the IPI of February 2026 decreased by (0.72%) compared to February 2025, and by (2.19%) compared to January 2026. It should be noted that the base year was amended to (2018=100) instead of (2010=100).
