The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the Consumer Price Index for October 2020 to reach 101.29 against 101.27 for the same month of 2019 recorded an increase by 0.02%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the price of Vegetables and Legumes Dry and Canned by 0.06 percentage points, Tobacco and Cigarettes by 0.03 percentage points, Health by 0.02 percentage points, Dairy Products and Eggs by 0.01 percentage points and Personal Luggage by 0.01 percentage points. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the price of Transport by 0.07 percentage points, Fuels and Lighting by 0.06 percentage points, Rents by 0.03 percentage points and Clothes by 0.01 percentage points.
