16.44% the Increase of the Industrial Producer’s prices Index during October 2021
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the Industrial producers price index for October 2021 to reach 127.89 against 109.83 for the same month of 2020 recording an increase by 16.44%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the price Index of manufacturing industries by 16.10 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.01% and the prices index of quarrying industries by 0.64 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.22%. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the price Index of electricity by 0.30 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.76%.
