10.1% the average increase of Industrial Producer’s prices during June 2018
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Industrial price index for June 2018 to reach 121.59 against 110.44 for the same month of 2017 recorded a growth by 10.1% .This mainly was a result of an increase in the production quantities of the manufacturing Industries by 9.49 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.0%, the quantities of quarrying production by 0.76 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.2%. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the quantities of electricity prices by 0.15 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.8%.
On the monthly level, the report indicates an increase in the industrial price index of the industrial production for June 2018 to reach 121.59 against 120.60 compared with the previous month (May) of the same year leading an increase by 0.8%. This has resulted mainly from an increase in the manufacturing Industries prices by 1.16 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.0%, while there was a decrease in the quarrying Industries prices by 0.33 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.2%. and the electricity prices index by 0.004 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.8%.
