Industrial Production Index increase by 1.10% during November 2022
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the General Industrial Production Index for November 2022 to reach 90.95 against 89.96 for the same month of 2021 recording an increase by 1.10%. This mainly was a result of an increase in the production index of manufacturing industries by 1.25 % with a relative importance of 86.01% and the quantities of electricity production by 5.38 % with a relative importance of 5.76% .Meanwhile, there was a decrease of quarrying industries production by 3.37 % with a relative importance of 8.22%.
