7.2% the Average Increase in Agricultural Producers’ Prices during July 2021
The data issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the Average Agricultural Producers’ Price Index for July 2021 by 7.2% compared with July 2020. (The Price Index reached 85.3 in July 2021 compared with 79.6 in July 2020).The most significant crops that contributed to this increase were Green lettuce 167.1%, cucumber 109.5%, squash 64.8%, apricot 30.1%, carrots 28.5%, peach 27.4%, nectarine 25.6%, red cabbage 24.0%, pears 23.9% and potatoes by 23.8%.
