7.14% the average decrease of the Industrial Producer’s Price Index for September 2020
The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates a decrease in the Industrial Producer’s Price Index for September 2020 to reach 109.79 against 118.23 for the same month of 2019 recorded a decrease by 7.14%. The main commodities groups which contributed to this decrease were the price index of the Manufacturing Industries by 6.89 percentage points with a relative importance of 86.0% , the price index of Quarrying industries by 0.23 percentage points with a relative importance of 8.2% and the prices index of Electricity by 0.02 percentage points with a relative importance of 5.8%.
