The data issued by the Department of Statistics indicates a decrease in the Average Agricultural Producers’ Price Index for Feb 2018 by 21.7% compared with Feb 2017. Apr Industrial Production Quantities decrease by 7.7% during February 2018

The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates a decrease in the General Industrial Production Quantities for Feb 2018 to reach 83.9 against 90.9 for the same month of 2017 recording a decrease by 7.7%. 4.4% the Average Increase of the Inflation Rate for March 2018

1.8% GDP growth rate at constant prices in the fourth quarter of 2017

The Department of Statistics issued the results of the preliminary quarterly estimates of the GDP at fixed prices for the fourth quarter of 2017. The results show that growth reached 1.8% during the fourth quarter of 2017 compared with the same quarter of 2016.For the annual level the Gross domestic product of constant prices of 2017 was 2.0% as compared with 2016.
