1.61% is the increase of the Consumer Price Index for October 2021

The monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics indicates an increase in the Consumer Price Index for October 2021 to reach 102.92 against 101.29 for the same month of 2020 recorded an increase by 1.61 %. This mainly was a result of the increase of Transportation by 0.96 percentage points, Meat and Poultry by 0.41 percentage points, Rents by 0.30 percentage points, Fuels and Lighting by 0.25 percentage points and Oils and Fats by 0.10 percentage points. Meanwhile, there was a decrease in the price of Vegetables and Legumes Dry and canned by 0.50 percentage points, Health by 0.10 percentage points, Fruits and Nuts by 0.06 percentage points and Dairy products and Eggs by 0.05 percentage points.
